I did find something else that might be worth reporting as a bug but I want to verify reproducibility first. I added an album (Fenci's Blues), but didn't notice that the "B" was actually a "b" until after scanning. So I used MP3tag to fix the tag, and BulkFileChanger to bump the timestamp 5 seconds and then rescanned. I ended up with both "Fenci's blues" and "Fenci's Blues" showing up in New Music, both with the full album listed.
I'm sorry, I can't reproduce this issue. I only ever get whatever latest album title I was using in my tests.
