Just updated to latest ver 7.9(see signature) for the Random Albums feature. LMS is now repeatedly and endlessly doing scans and rescans.
In case you're the guy who posted a bug report: please shut down LMS, delete library.db and restart.
Otherwise you might want to provide a little more information, in particular server.log and scanner.log files.
