FWIW, I'm not having any of these problems. If your CPU is being maxed
out, I would expect, in most cases, to have some problems with dropouts.
It would probably be a good idea to clear the cache completely and let
LMS rebuild it from scratch. Open the Control Panel, Advanced tab, check
only 'Clean cache folder..." and Run Cleanup.
I don't see how that will help with the scanner running over and over
If the db file itself is corrupted, only deleting it will recover LMS
functionality. A regular scan does not delete the file, but drops tables
etc. to start over. This is considered to be faster, as it won't need to
re-allocate the disk space. Whether it's worth the hassle, I don't know.
