The obvious short-term fix is to just use your sorty genre names, which will sort correctly and still be readable, and skip the post-scan fixup. It's not like genres are prominently displayed throughout any of the Squeezebox user interfaces, so the appearance of the names shouldn't be that big of a concern.
But I would also register a bug report and an enhancement request: 1. Use genre.namesort to sort genres. I'd say the current behavior is a bug. 2. Add support for a GENRESORT field. Then you can attack the problem purely in your tagging, with no need for either the post-scan gyrations or modification of the code. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102190 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
