Update -- Just rebooted and got the "do you want to install..." notice.
Again, nothing happened and this was with allow app installation from
anywhere in Security. The Console log had the same entry as before when
searching for Squeeze. Nothing under "install" but some other apps that
I know are running
Care, Michael uses email instead of forum webpage and normally will not
see post updates. When posting make sure to create a new post instead of
updating.

FWIW: trying to reproduce this issue I just got an installer crash...
will see whether I can learn something from it.
