Hi,
i found some strange things sometimes one of them is a new clean install
sometimes fix strange issues that a update didnt fix.
may you save your server.prefs located under
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs and do a

dpkg -P logitechmediaserver
--------------------
to purge the old install and after a reboot install lms from scratch
again.
