Hi all,
First time poster here, but already checking the forum for a couple of
years to fix issues now and then. Today, I am stuck though and decided
to post.
At the start of March I updated to 7.8.1-1456642361 after months without
any updates. Date of nightly was probably 2016-03-01. The system has
been running nicely for approximately two weeks.
A few days ago the Plugins page started to show that there was an update
for 'Custom Clock Helper'. Ticking the box and clicking Apply and
restarting the server didn't appear to work. (Plugin still showed up as
having an update waiting.) I ignored the problem for the time being.
This morning, I saw Smart Mix also had an update waiting. However, I
couldn't update Smart Mix either. Later today, many more appeared as
requiring an update:
- Spotify (Triode)
- Custom Browse
- Custom Clock Helper
- Custom Scan
- IR Blaster
- License Manager
- Multi Library
- Smart Mix
- Song Info
- Song Lyrics
- TrackStat
Worst is, the functionality of these plugins is no longer available.
They all stopped working (not sure if that is normal for plugins
requiring an update.)
The problem reminds me of thread "LMS plugin 'restart now/restart later'
notification won't go away"

However, that issue was over a month ago and my problem started only
this week.
Just to be sure, today I updated LMS to the latest nightly of 7.9
(1458287071) to be sure I was running the latest code. This did not
help.
I am running LMS on QNAP TurboStation TS-219 / 4.2.0 build 20160130,
ARMv5
Below I included the most interesting part of my server.log, lines
417-424, where an unexpected zlib version appears to be present,
followed by a failed compilation of Zip.pm and PluginDownloader.pm.
Furthermore, line 424 complains about SSL failing. Not sure if that is
related to the above.
Does anyone have any hints at what is going on and how to resolve it?
