That's the problem with tagging some Linux enthusiast in a basement started it & and it over a decade for record companies to get it
I fetch my time machine and go back to 1990 and get the record labels especially the classical labels to understand that they must agree on a riaa, iec, ebu standard on music tagging and audio formats for example an industry standard to get an unique I'd for every track on every version of every cd or digital download ;) What we have now , when we put in some personal effort and tag and retag and fix stuff which I have done . If you do it to well you adapt to much one particular player or software , diffent system will have different problems the result varies with playback solution. The problem must actually be solved somewhere else than in the tags off the end user . -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
