Hi,

This is not as easy as you describe. Change to splines maybe need to rethink a 
lot of operators and functions, so it’s something we consider, but before we 
need to have a version that runs smooth and with all functionalities.

Anyway, it’s something we have in our (long) ToDo list.

Hi,

At the moment the strokes of the brush created with polylines in GP are
extremely noisy.

Instead use polylines for strokes in GP could use splines, this save
number of vertices and is easier and fast to edit shapes.

I think this concept can be interesting for simplify brush strokes and
other tools in GP in real time:

Other 2d animation softwares like Anime Studio use splines for create
strokes.
