Dominion is definitely a neat concept and I would say that it has potential. However, coming from R4tG, Dominion has nowhere near the depth or replayability for me.
The real trouble with Dominion is this. It's variety and depth are experienced 'between' games. Of the ten Kingdom cards in use, which ones combo well? This question should be answered before you make your first buy. During play, each game is fairly straight forward and simple. And as has been said, after determining this, the game is pretty much played on auto-pilot. For me, I'd rather not spend 30 minutes between each meaningful decision. Of course, I'm simplifying some here, but really not all that much. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BGG Down" group.
