Pity we didn't win, congrats to Papers. I've never tried it myself,  
so I couldn't compare.

It would be nice to have nicer UI and icons for Bibdesk. But none of  
the present developers is very skilled in creating icons. We're more  
practically oriented people, who are more interested in using it. And  
buying icons is expensive, especially for a free app like BibDesk  
(unlike Papers). But if people would like to help out making BibDesk  
a better looking app, they're of course very welcome to join the team!
