In addition, I should note that you can use BibDesk's citation services in any application that supports them: http://bibdesk.sourceforge.net/manual/BibDesk%20Help_55.html This is a pretty good solution, and easier than switching apps (in my opinion). I used it heavily before autocomplete was available. I also have a TextMate plugin that provides the same functionality as the input manager, available here: http://homepage.mac.com/amaxwell/.Public/Completion.zip I prefer it to TextMate's built-in BibTeX completion, but I'm obviously biased :). The search algorithm is the same as the old input manager.
