I've been using Continental Sport Contact tires and like them (I think mine is 1.6), but I can't compare to the Paselas or Marathon. The outside of the tire is of the harder rubber variety, so it works ok on hard pack trail. I like it because you can also get them with reflective sidewalls. I think the Schwalbe has that option too.
