I'm in the market for some tires in the 26 x 1.75 range. I have been using Panaracer Paselas, they ride nice but the sidewalls fall apart while there is still tons of tread. I looked at the Schwalbe Marathon, it looks like a nice heavy duty tire that will take occasional trail use but they appear rather heavy. Can anyone offer some input on how they ride? 1.75 is about the size limit, if I go to a 2 inch tire I won't be able to run fenders. Is there another tire I'm missing, 1.5 is an option as well.
