But what about the concerns Mike Barrett raised, about the closing of the path at Brittingham? It sounds like the "detours" throw cyclists onto through lanes of some of our busiest streets. North Shore Drive is, after all, a US Federal Highway (151). That isn't a detour, it's effectively a shutdown. Was anything said about the fact that there apparently is no safe detour for this closure? Did they take into any consideration Mike's suggestion that a lane of North Shore be used as the bike path? Did Mike attend, BTW? As I said, I would have, but...
