I double checked with engineering, and Robbie's response is correct. There is one caveat, however. They do need to go under the bike path north of the beltline. The current plan is that they will tunnel under the path, but they do have permission to open cut the path if necessary. In that case, they are supposed to install Path Closed signs at the nearest access points either side of the cut, and to minimize the duration of time the path is closed. Again, hopefully, they will not have to do this.

I don't believe it will involve ripping up pavement or otherwise disturbing the path. It might be noisy and a bit dirty, and there will need to be some replantings done along the path, but nothing major.
