It's not just kids that do not have properly adjusted helmets - and it's not
just inexperienced cyclists either. How many of us see friends or riding
partners with the strap hanging down low beneath their chin? I would hate to
see that thing fly off or be in the wrong position at the crucial moment of
impact.

I guess we have to take it one step at a time. Get them to wear a helmet, make
sure it's the right size, position it level on the head (no helmet beanies),
then get the straps right. Some people are only on step # 1.
