I would concur with John, and add that sections of the current configuration of 
East Wash right now look as though Sleestaks from "Land of The Lost" might pop 
out of mounds of dirt at any moment to take sticks to your tires.  It puts a 
crimp on biking (for now).  Navigating sections of East Wash is a fearsome 
beast for even seasoned travelers.
