Ach... now I'm feeling murky again.... Can a cyclist proceed at a red light if they deem it safe (as per section 346.37 (1)(c)(2) in the Wisconsin statutes)? Or does the subd. that Mark refers to at <http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/safety/vehicle/bicycle/docs/bikelaws.pdf> overrule that and make it necessary for a cyclist to wait a full 45 seconds before proceeding?
A friend of mine recently got ticketed on her bike after she came to a full stop at an intersection and then proceeded before the light turned green. She is thinking of taking it to court, and would like to know what the law is. In perpetual confusion, -India _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.danenet.org/listinfo.cgi/bikies-danenet.org
