I've seen ads for helmet mounted video cams targeted at skiers, off road
riders etc. I don't remember what they cost.

Subject: [Bikies] Egging...and recording

Wondering whether anyone out there knows anything about a reasonably
priced video camera system that one could mount on one's bicycle helmet.
Idea would be that the system would automatically keep the most recent
ten minutes (or so) in memory (i.e. on a "rolling" basis). Then if the
user wanted to save "footage" of some incident that just happened,
he/she would activate appropriate buttons or whatever to store it in
longer-term memory, and then download later on to analyze, save as
evidence, give to police, etc. Needless to say the video should
date/time stamp - and maybe even GPS. Weatherproof, reasonably
lightweight, etc.

Sorry if this seems Big Brother-ish, but I don't see why motorists are
entitled to anonymity when they regularly pose - intentionally or not -
life-and-death threats to non-motorists who are attempting to use public
thoroughfares.
