I wear a helmet always..am convinced that the shattered one I did back in 92
saved me from permanent disability and maybe even death after hitting a patch
of black ice in a fairly slow speed crash on a turn...although, some have
questioned my mental health since..well..they did before too.
I am as MUCH a proponent of making headphones illegal while riding...not only
are they getting rid of a very important sense for a rider..hearing...but that
same sense loss is dangerous to me..as they can't hear me saying "passing on
your left" if I'm going faster..if they swerve left...they will send me into
traffic lanes...not a favorite custom of mine.
