Hi all- My job recently moved to the corner of Old Sauk Road and the Beltline; I live on the far east side of Madison. Since my commute is already going to be at least an hour each way, I don't want to spend a lot of time dawdling on the way to work, getting lost while figuring out the best route. I was hoping I could get some advice from fellow Bikies to speed the process.
I have no problem getting to downtown, but what's the fastest/safest way to get from downtown to my job? I could take University and Old Sauk most of the way, but I've heard that there are backstreet routes that avoid some of the hills and fast-moving auto traffic on Old Sauk. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
