Hey, good news bears repeating.
A couple of years I biked from Madison to Lake Geneva so I thought I'd put
Google's routing up against mine. Google's route incorporated more bike trails
than mine and goes through more scenic country, at a net cost of only about 2
more miles (80 vs 78).
So they get a big AYYYYYY-MEN! from me. This is definitely not evil.

This is very cool. And Madison, with Fitchburg, Middleton, etc., is one of the
150 cities with the recommended bike routes given preference in the mapping.
