My wife pulls a Burley with her short-wheel base Vision no problem, but this is
for the 3 year old. We can only use the trail-a-bike with a wedgie for our 6
year old. It is really nice that he can help out with the pedaling.
I recently saw this interesting "pedal trailer" at Eriks bikes, but only
designed for use with a wedgie.

The other option might be a highly adjustable tandem recumbent.

Subject: [Bikies] kids recumbent bike

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience riding trails (not commuter biking in the city)
with their kids using recumbent bikes? I have a strong 6 yr old and am thinking
about fashioning / buying a recumbent bike for longer trails rides.

Thanks!
Margie Franzen
