Robbie and Hans, I think this is a great idea and such a powerful visual. I will talk with the Ride the Drive Committee on Friday to see if they support it and if the logistics can be worked out during Ride The Drive. The challenging part would be getting the 40 cars lined up. There are already so many challenging logistics for Ride The Drive and getting set up completed in time is never easy (we started at 4am last year and just made our time deadline). I doubt the committee will support attempting the car picture.
Here's a thought... does anyone have an aerial shot of traffic congestion on E Wash or John Nolen? If so, we'd only need pictures of the same spot with the people and the bus during Ride The Drive. In past Ride the Drive events, we've been able to work with a local group to have aerial photos taken. I'll find out if they are planning to be at the August Ride The Drive.
