Moon rides -- Friends and coworkers have joined in on informal full moon rides on the Oak Leaf Trail in Milwaukee County from South Shore Park to Grant Park for about a dozen years now. We bike to the beach in Grant Park, watch the moon come up big and orange over the lake, then pedal back. The Palomino has become a handy start and end point. We've missed a few this summer because of work commitments, but hopefully I can wrap things up in time tonight. The moon rise is 7:23.
