Having just moved back to Madison after four years away, I am completely amazed by how the system has grown during that time. I think one of my new favorites is/are the bridges over East Washington and Aberg on the east side. They really do so much to minimize the barriers that those arterials can be and provide bike and pedestrian access to destinations. It almost feels magical to ride over these really attractive bridges and it feels a bit empowering to look down on all those cars below.
