You don't need a map, but a couple of verbal directions beyond "just follow
the lake" are in order ;-)

My former commuting route was to continue on Lakewood alongside the golf
course (i.e., DON'T turn on Farwell to attempt to follow the lake), then
left on Newcastle, right on Kingsway, left on LeRoy, to rejoin Farwell
along the lake to re-enter the City of Madison on what becomes named
Woodward along Warner Beach (then right on Forster to the park).

I haven't been in Maple Bluff in the last several weeks because of torn-up
streets, so don't know if work is done. The last I was through there, it
was okay until Lakewood approaching Newcastle, only a small bit of Lakewood
torn up but Newcastle essentially closed except to locals and would be
unpleasant by bicycle. If that's the case, just continue to hug the golf
course along Lakewood and turn left (you won't have any other choice) to
whatever that street is called which will have golf course on your right
and a small park with athletic field on your right... and then right on
LeRoy to Farwell.
