I am a northsider and this is how to do it. I live two plus miles north of
Warner Park.

Alternative 1

Take the Starkweather path.
Turn left on Commercial. Go 0.05 miles
Turn right on N. Oak. Go 0.20 miles (cum. 0.25 mi.)
Turn left on Coolidge. Go 0.20 miles (cum. 0.45 mi.)
Turn right on Kedzie. Go 0.10 miles (cum. 0.55 mi.)
Turn left onto Aberg Path (aka Starkweather Path along Aberg. Go 0.60 miles
(cum. 1.15
mi.)
Turn right on Loftsgordon. Go 0.50 miles (cum. 1.65 mi.)
Turn left on Sheridan. Go 0.15 miles (cum. 1.80 mi.)
Turn right on Huxley. Go 0.35 miles (cum. 2.15 mi.)
Turn left on Elka. Go 0.20 miles (cum. 2.35 mi.)
Turn left on Windom. Go 0.05 miles (cum. 2.40 mi.)
Turn right on N Sherman (Street or Sidewalk). Go 0.15 miiles (cu. 2.55 mi.
Turn left at Warner Park Entrance.

Alternative 2

An alternative is get to Commercial and Packers then cross Packers and turn
right toward
Oscar Mayer parking lot. Go thru parking lot to Aberg then go up Loftsgordon.
(see above)

Alternative 3

An alternative for either of the above is to turn left from Windom onto N.
Sherman and then
immediately turn right onto Trailsway. At the end of Trailsway is a path that
goes into Warner
Park.

All routes are fairly flat and direct.

By the end of this year the section of N Sherman from Trailsway to Northport
will have
bike lanes.

Does the starkweather creek path extend all the way to the path along
Aberg Ave?I'm trying to figure out a route to Warner Park from the
intersection of the yahara river path and the cap city path.
