I rode the Badger Trail on Saturday, and it was fine. There were some signs of recent work (e.g. the wooden frames on some of the railings) but the trail was open and very bikeable.
I do hope that at some point they put up signs marking the cross-roads, to help bikers orient themselves. It would also be nice to have signs pointing the way to nearby destinations. I had been planning to ride to Paoli; but I discovered that Sun Valley Parkway crossed the trail on a rather high bridge. I should have remembered this (I will next time), but signs would be nice. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Torrey" <[email protected]> To: "Patrick Lenon" <[email protected]>, [email protected], [email protected] Sent: Saturday, October 9, 2010 10:51:12 PM Subject: Re: [Bikies] Badger State Trail status? I biked it Tuesday and went about 20 miles south of Madison and back. Workmen were putting up signs Tuesday. In fact I saw 2 workmen put up a stop sign as I rolled to the intersection. I announced that I was the first person that had to stop at that street. It is open. It is very nice!
