=v= This appeared on the Instructables site some years back.
It was generally understood to be a joke, probably because the
D.I.Y. crowd at Instructables knows that air pressure doesn't
work like that. (You could, at best, use it to inflate the
tires of a child's small-wheeled bike.)
=v= Lifehacker reran it for "Evil Week," around Hallowe'en,
and many people with no clue freaked out over it, including
an SUV owner who *threatened* to shoot anyone who used it.
Some of the froth and bile spilled over into (more recent)
comments on Instructables. I guess Make wanted some of that
attention too?
