Hey everybody,
Realized I hadn't given an update for a while & not everyone is on Facebook, so
here's the update on Madison Bike Winter...
Feb is a busy month w/the following events planned:
-Ride to Picnic Point (ice bike ride) - TOMORROW @ 1 PM, from Memorial Union
(meet in Rathskeller)
-Great Dane to Great Dane - Next Thurs, 2/10, 5:30 PM from downtown Great Dane
to Hilldale, then back downtown
-Valentine Ride - Love Your Bike - Tentatively planned for Sun, 2/13,
suggestions?
-Bike To Work Day - Thurs, 2/17, multiple locations - Williamson Bicycle Works
is sponsoring with coupons
-Frozen Snot Century (Chicago) - Fri, 2/25, tentatively planned to go
Kenosha-Milwaukee-Burlington-Antioch
Also in Feb, Polar Plunge on Sat, 2/19, & Madison Winter Festival with a
cycling
event on Sun, 2/20! For the Frozen Snot, I told the Chicago group that maybe
we'd meet them somewhere but not sure exactly if we'd want to bike to Milwaukee
or get there another way. It's on a Fri because the Chicago Cycle Swap is on
Sat, 2/26, & the riders want to be back into Chicago for that event. I may go
part of the way, if possible, & then head down to Chicago for the Swap.
