We had approx 30+ riders on a fairly consistent basis & definitely saw the folks wandering around the square get uplifted when they saw us coming around for another lap. As far as I'm aware, we'll be back tomorrow, again from 5-7, & anyone who purposefully comes down to ride some laps should wear green, in recognition of St Pat's Day. A cyclist named Brian Z has a great sound system & the riders seem to help keep the spirits up of those picketing/protesting the current situation at the Capital. Since I'm posting this to multiple lists, including WNBR, I thought maybe we could see a larger crowd of cyclists riding around this Wed, 3/16! The forecast currently looks nice for Wed & it would be a great opportunity for anyone who's not yet got their bikes out to go for a ride, & support our democracy.
