Wasn't the Union Pacific RR the reason the section between Cottage Grove Rd.
and Buckeye was never completed--some refusal to give permission or
something like that?  Why can it proceed from Buckeye to Cottage Grove
(village, not road)?

Can we make sure that this bike path is a free route and not part of the
DNR's toll road for (non-polluting) bicycles?  What could make that happen?
