=v= Certain Scandian countries use red for bikes, Germany uses
blue, and France uses green.  After visiting all those places,
I liked green the best and started advocating for it in the U.S.
It dovetails with the concept of a greenway, and blends in with
them as well.

=v= Well, as mentioned, other options including blue already
have standard uses in the U.S.  In France the green is lighter,
more chartreuse.  Some of us demonstrated what that might look
