It would have been interesting to hear what the police would have had to
say about this. They probably didn't do so because they knew that they
were wrong. I always find it interesting when businesses turn down
business. As to what would happen if a car ran into you, I'd say the
driver of the car would be in a lot trouble for reckless driving.

I've never been refused service in a drive-through lane. That said, I
think drive-throughs should be outlawed. They take up valuable space, pave
over land that could otherwise absorb water to replenish the aquifer, and
add greatly to air pollution as few motorists ever bother to shut off their
engines while waiting. Would it really kill people to come into the
restaurant/store and have a face-to-face interaction with another human
being? With drive-through restaurants, there is the added problem that the
motorist will then usually drive while eating, causing a hazardous driving
situation.

A gorgeous old house used to sit on the current site of the Burger King on
East Wash. It was torn down to build this abomination.

there's going to come a day, sure as hell, when our children or their

people?'"
