I don't think there's any question. Plowing would need to happen, but a
layer of hard-pack and or ice is preferable to what we've had most winter.
Studded tires would be a must, but they really are anyway for anyone that
really relies on their bike for daily transportation. The absence of salt
and sand (especially heavy this year) would be a huge satisfier for the
health of our bikes and dramatically reduce maintenance and replacement of
equipment. You've got my vote.
