So Spoke/Sprocket Drives crosses over the Military Ridge Path and Williamsburg is an at-grade crossing?
Maybe. The eastward extension of Williamsburg Way, and the northward extension of Sprocket Dr to intersect with it, is dependent on significant development investment on the former Nicolet (current Thermo Fisher) campus. Thermo Fisher has not committed to make the needed investment or sell the property for development by others, so there hasn't been detailed planning of a Military Ridge Path/Williamsburg Way crossing yet.
We can say that Spoke and Sprocket are being built specifically for expansion by Placon, Certco, and Saris, and the first two expect to use the new streets to get heavy trucks between their premises and McKee and Verona Roads. This truck traffic is one of the reasons that a tunnel will be built to take the path under Spoke Dr. The nature of any future development will determine how the intersections of the path and Williamsburg, and indeed, the intersection of Spoke and Sprocket, will be designed in the long run.
Post 2019, Fitchburg's fire and EMS response to Jamestown will likely be over the Williamsburg Way overpass over the Verona Road, so if Williamsburg Way is extended east to serve new development, that emergency response will also be a factor in the intersection designs.
