Picking up on Patrick's point ("Which is, if a biker goes through a red
light, who's most likely to get hurt? And if a driver goes through a red,
who will get hurt?") , it reminds me of something I posted on bikies at
least 30 years ago:
News story: Bicyclist runs red light, hits SUV in intersection. All five
passengers in the SUV were killed immediately, while the bicyclist was
unscathed.
