But your problem lies elsewhere.

Worse - bosse and ironhead may be the only users on your system at all! If
you created the other user, you also have to create that user's home area.
Binc IMAP can't help here with logging or verbose error messages.

Basically Binc can create Maildir, but it can't create /home/<user> - 
that's your job as sysadmin. :-)
