This problem _does_ seem to occur in Outlook Express.  This makes it look
more like a problem common to MS clients.

One thing that does occur to me is this:  since I only moved everything into
the IMAP store today (drag-and-drop in Outlook), perhaps this problem won't
occur in future, and I won't need to worry about it.
