Did you restart the service? After editing the run files you must restart
Binc IMAP with this command:

# svc -du /service/bincimap

>v22.computerking.ca > /var/log #ps -aux | grep recordio
>root    11951  0.0  0.1   308  144  p0  D+    3:37AM   0:00.00 grep recordio

This only shows that the "grep" found itself. :-)

Your run file looks perfect; you did it all right. You probably just
forgot to restart the service.

Yes, the --allow-plain line overrides the setting.

This is also an indicator that you didn't restart the service.
