You're absolutely right, Sheeri. And I think we could all take a lesson from this, and many other instances.
We Liberals have the unfortunate tendency to believe in the superstition of the "Good Will Triumph Over Evil" mentality. Even when we win, we often look back and discuss it as such, when in fact, it is commerce and capitalism that gave us the victory. If we'll take a more logical, sober approach to such issues, we'll win a lot more often than we do.
