That's funny, I just discovered perl2exe today! It creates kind of bloated .exe files, but it's pretty awesome overall.
We have to put some system stuff on these windows boxes to interface with these lame DOS based systems we're trying to get data out of. I had been struggling to create usable Batch scripts, and failing miserably, when someone pointed out that you can convert perl into windows executables with perl2exe. Now i can do all kinds of neat tricks like variable assignment, and for loops even! ECHO choose 1-9: ECHO .
