And while we're almost on the topic, I'd like to take this opportunity
to bitch about something else.  Why is it that some shells - and I'm
looking at, say, tcsh on FreeBSD 4.4 - give you this retarded message
when you hit ^D to log out:

spam:majcher {103} ^D
Use "logout" to logout.

It *knows* I want to log out.  Why doesn't it just log me out?  Just
to be hateful, I make it a point to type "exit" instead of "logout".
Or, as I discovered in a fit of keyboard-pounding, hit ^D 28 times in
a row, then it gets the idea and exits the shell.  Fuckers.
