        The number of inods you use is a tricky, tricky thing.  You
        can have a fuckton of inodes but they are smaller, which is
        good if you have a lot of small files (like a mail server).

        However, if you're dealing with larger files, larger inodes
        will serve you better.

        For the most part, I've not seen inodes become an issue;  99%
        of the machines out there won't have a problem with this unless
        something is really wrong (I've seen "too few inodes" errors
        show up with situations similar to Mr. Hunters, for example,
        but that is a symptom of a larger problem - and the machine
        had small inodes).
