Linksys makes a product WBP54G, "Wireless-G Bridge for Phone Adapters"

It's no more than a wireless card with an ethernet connection.
However, it's more suitable for ATAs that are powered with 5V DC,
since the ATA and the WBP54G would use the same power supply.

Hi all,

Sorry if this question sounds a bit silly:

But is it possible to use a not wireless VoIP phone (such as Aastra
9133i) in a non-wired environment? I am thinking maybe somehow
attaching it to my wireless laptop but I dont know if my laptop would
work the same as a router.

So anyway of doing it or am I dreaming? ;) Thanks in advance.

p.s. i am trying to experiment ;) as one of the working facilities
where I work at does not any wiring whatsoever. so i am trying to save
money instead of buying 100ft cable ;)
p.s.s. ... and also I am aware that you can install a soft phone on
the laptop ;)
