But I don't want to have to do this every time I start the machine. The
application will be started from .Xsession so I would like a solution (a
config file or something) where I can tell that this window is supposed
to be omnipresent on all workspaces.

> What do you mean 'next window'?

I mean the Alt-Tab behaviour fluxbox has. That when you press Alt-Tab
the window you then jump to on the list gets raised and focused.
