This is the behavior I get (that I want to avoid).  I have auto-raise
turned on, so if I Alt-Tab slowly enough, the windows raise and I
Alt-Tab past them.

Because I give my xterms unique names, I would like auto-raise to apply
only when the Alt key is released.  That is, I want my stacking to be
undisturbed except that the newly-focused window is raised once I decide
it's the one I want.
