I actually searched Google for a while, but as I was searching for the wrong thing (trying to find out what was RH8 doing after I login to X) I ended up reading FAQ stuff regarding RH, not Blackbox. Thanks, this got me going: I need to use the Default session, not Blackbox, to get my .xsession executed. Which is a bit funny I think: to have to use the default to get the custom!
